ABOUT OTOCARE: SCENE 1

Otocare at the University of Tokyo is a special research and development project dedicated to trialing and investigating the nourishing potential of sound.

With this in mind and the natural sound universe of Memu as our palette, MSCTY_Studio's field recordings are extended to form the backdrop to a BBC Radio 3 special program from MSCTY's Nick Luscombe, and a cassette release designed to produce calming environments.

The soundscape is then further sculpted by additional production from Ski Oakenfull.
