Since 2019 MSCTY has forged ahead with finding new ways to understand sound through rereading the spaces in which we find it, in and around Memu, a remote in eastern Hokkaido. Our ongoing research is complemented through participatory workshops in collaboration with brilliant sound practitioners, composers, and other open-minded innovators.
